A crazy dream come true
Nadeen Eilert Rössler, the founder of Joya Jewels, was 16 years old when he first came across some artisans selling jewellery on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. The colours and raw beauty of the stones and beads enchanted him, as they sparkled in the sunlight.
He bought some coloured glass beads and, upon returning home to Germany, crafted them into pieces of jewellery. This sparked a crazy idea in his mind:
“How amazing would it be to travel all over the world, seeking out the rarest and most beautiful stones and materials, meeting the finest local artisans, and combining our creativity to produce unique jewellery that radiates this passion?”
His epic dream came true, and still inspires him and fills his daily life with joy 40 years later.
In search of Inner Truth and Beauty
Nadeen was trained in meditation and met remarkable teachers and masters around the world, including in India, Tibet, Thailand, Bali, and the US.
These journeys showed him that he could combine his passion for travelling, his dream of finding the best craftspeople and designing jewellery with his exploration of consciousness.
He now shares his 35 years of meditation practice through conferences and workshops all over the world, as well as through individual sessions, and he still designs the jewellery himself.
During his stay in India, he met Kailash Gööck. Consequently, Kailash booked a coaching session with him and a beautiful friendship was born.
Today, Kailash works on moving Joya Jewels forward, contributing with his vision to ensure its sustainability for the next generations.

How Joya’s first collection was born
“In 983, I had a small collection of stones from India, which I took with me to Kathmandu to produce the first jewellery collection with local metalsmiths. Later, I travelled to Bali and sought the best silversmiths on the island. I found that the finest precious metal artisans are the ones who work for the temples. These craftsmen have mastered an ancient granulation technique. We sat together for weeks, looking at the stones, making drawings, and working on designs. As a result, the work became amazingly powerful because of this creative process and my close relationship with the silversmiths.”

Joya Jewels has grown into a community, despite being a small company. We work together creatively and independently, and our team is a colourful mix of different personalities from a wide variety of backgrounds. We are united by our creative enthusiasm and the desire to surround ourselves with beautiful things. We share the same openness towards others, as well as a need to grow and develop as individuals.
