Beautiful Chinese Happy Buddha. Its origin can be traced back to the Zen master Poe-Tai Ho-Shang, who, as one of the oldest followers of Buddha, was significantly involved in the spread of this world religion. This famous mendicant monk enchanted the people of China in the 10th century with his charisma, naturalness and charm. Due to his unmistakable trademark, his big belly, he was known throughout the country at the time. Due to his cheerful nature and loud hearty laughter, he achieved a great degree of fame in a very short time. Meeting him was considered a great stroke of luck.
His presence in his own home promotes personal happiness and prosperity. The big belly stands for opulence in financial matters as well as serenity, cheerfulness and balance in all life situations. It is primarily considered a religious symbol and a pure sign of enlightenment, meditation and centering one’s own center.
Handcrafted with attention to detail, the Happy Buddha is one of a kind.
Suarholz:
Suarholz is an acacia species. What all “acacias” have in common is that it is a subfamily of the mimosa family, the final name is then slightly different depending on the country. For example, the acacia is called munggur in Indonesia, rain tree in Thailand and in our country this wonderfully colorful wood is best known under the name suar.
Product:
Height: approx. 25 cm
Width: approx. 23 cm
Depth: approx. 15.5 cm

Another note:
Wood is a natural product that always “works”. It reacts not only to temperature fluctuations but also to humidity fluctuations. Unevenness, cracks and dimensional and pattern deviations can occur on the object.
The wood has a beautiful grain and is sealed with an oil finish. This sealant is absorbed differently by the wood and can lead to slight colour differences, which are not to be seen as a complaint, but rather underline the naturalness of this product. Even slight cracks are natural and should not be seen as a complaint.
