Sonowood:
Sono wood has a dark brown to black wood appearance, with a fine straight-line texture. Because of its reddish coloring, it is also called the “Filipino mahogany”, it is the national tree of the Philippines. It is very fast-growing, grows 30 to 40 meters high with a trunk diameter of two meters. It has beautiful flowers. In addition, the leaves were brought to Europe by the colonial powers in the 16th to 18th centuries because of their medicinal healing powers. The wood comes from sustainable cultivation in Indonesia.

Crocodile:Crocodile wood is a light-colored wood that is ideal for making sculptures. Not very hard and robust, rather soft, with beautiful exotic grain. The tree gets its name from its external appearance, the gnarled spinous processes are reminiscent of crocodile teeth or the skin of a crocodile. It is said that locals are regularly frightened by a piece of crocodile wood floating in the river, as they mistake it for a crocodile. Because of the light color, it is also called the “ivory of woods”.

Hibiscus:
Hibiscus is a greenish wood and it is a shrub or tree with beautiful flowers. The trunks of the hibiscus have a dense, heavy and firm wood, so it is ideal for beautiful carvings. In many Asian cultures, the hibiscus is considered a symbol of fame, fortune and attraction.
