This very rare, valuable and large Buddha made of green hibiscus was lovingly and harmoniously handcrafted by a Balinese carver from one piece of solid, colorfully grained hibiscus under the most careful grinding and surface processing.

When selecting the Buddha figures we offer, attention is paid to a charismatic aura and a high quality of this craftsmanship. Special emphasis is placed on the meditative, balanced charisma. This Buddha has a quiet expression as well as fine details.

This Buddha, handmade with attention to detail, is unique.

Hibiscus:
Hibiscus is a shrub or tree with beautiful flowers. The trunks of the hibiscus have a dense, heavy and firm wood, so it is ideal for beautiful carvings. In many Asian cultures, the hibiscus is considered a symbol of fame, fortune and attraction.

Meaning of the Buddha:
Buddha means “the awakened one”. The term “Awakened One” refers to Buddha’s meditation. It stands for peace, inner balance and a conscious, attentive life.

Product:
Height: approx. 47 cm
Width: approx. 40 cm
Depth: approx. 21.5 cm
Weight: approx. 6700 g

Another note:
Wood is a natural product that always “works”. It reacts not only to temperature fluctuations but also to humidity fluctuations. Unevenness, cracks and dimensional and pattern deviations can occur on the object.
The wood has a beautiful grain and is sealed with an oil finish. This sealant is absorbed differently by the wood and can lead to slight colour differences, which are not to be seen as a complaint, but rather underline the naturalness of this product. Even slight cracks are natural and should not be seen as a complaint.
